Interior Design Townhouse, The Hague
For this characterful townhouse in the charming Duinoord district of The Hague, Lexi Beckord Interior Design created a complete interior concept. The clients had a clear vision: to achieve a modern and timeless interior while preserving the home's authentic features and historic character.
By merging the kitchen and dining room through a structural wall opening, a spacious and light-filled kitchen-living area was created — the beating heart of the home. The kitchen design was tailored for contemporary comfort, featuring a large kitchen island as a central gathering point for cooking, dining, and connection.
A carefully selected herringbone floor with border and trim detailing was laid throughout the ground floor, bringing a sense of unity and elegance to the space. The overall design blends clean, modern elements with original features such as ornate moldings, high ceilings, and classic window frames — achieving a subtle balance between past and present.
